At this cooking class, diners will enjoy the complex and wonderful flavors of Indian cuisine and learn to make it themselves through a combination of demonstration and hands-on work. Tips and techniques for preparing the food will be interwoven with information about the history and geography of the dishes. The menu includes mutter paneer, chapati, pakoras, tamarind chutney, and kachumber. Suggestions for wine and beer pairings will also be provided.
This menu is vegetarian and contains gluten. An adaptation can be made for gluten-free attendees but it may not be the right fit for those who are particularly sensitive. Mutter paneer contains both cheese and cream and is not suitable for people avoiding or unable to consume dairy. All proceeds go to the Community Forest Expansion Project.
